Call for Presenters
The Spring Conference for Small Schools Leaders Call for Presenters is closed.
Notifications will be delivered via email the week of January 4.
With small schools in mind, we are seeking school or district personnel who have satisfactorily addressed or or currently engaged in significant work in any of the following areas. Proposals should address a best practices approach to one or more of the topics.
- Culture: Leadership and Communication
- Instructional and Assessment Practices
- School Safety and Security
- SEL and Self-care
- Other: Various topics including but not limited to Student Discipline, Recruiting and Retaining Staff, and Apprenticeships
Sessions are one hour each and should engage participants in meaningful discussions and share viable experiences resulting in individual growth and/or systems improvement.
The conference will provide the following session support:
Please bring your presentation on a thumb drive, and any other items needed to support your presentation.
- Projector and projection screen
- Presentation remote/clicker
- Technology support
The conference features a mobile app. Session materials are due by February 28. Materials will be uploaded to the app for attendee access. Presenters may also provide hard-copy handouts as desired.
Presenters are encouraged to register and participate in the conference. However, presenters coming solely to present their session do not need to register. All presenters are asked to check-in at registration to retrieve their name badge. Regretfully, due to budget limitations, we are not able to offer compensation to our presenters.
