Diagnostic to Outbreak: How to Rapidly Scale Your Diagnostic Testing Program to Respond to School Outbreaks | Learn to Return Learning Network Virtual Kick-Off

Over the past year, Learn to Return (L2R) has worked with K–12 schools across Washington State to build and manage COVID-19 testing programs while navigating challenges, uncertainties, and even the dreaded outbreak. These schools have adapted, learned, and responded to the unique challenges presented by this health crisis, amassing a wealth of real-world experience in the process. As the pandemic evolves and in-person learning remains critical—that practical experience must be shared! That's why L2R is launching a Learning Network to serve as a platform for your school's COVID-19 testing team to promote learning and foster the spread of best practices and emerging innovative approaches across the state.

At the L2R Learning Network's first event, we'll review how to rapidly scale your diagnostic testing program to respond to school outbreaks. You'll learn the step-by-step process for outbreak response in the school setting and hear the first-hand experience of a peer who had to put a plan in place. There will also be time for a moderated Q&A session—so bring your questions!

• Michaela Miller, Deputy Superintendent, OSPI
• Lacy Fehrenbach, Deputy Secretary for COVID Response, Washington State DOH
• Sarah Sutton, Learn to Return Director, Health Commons Project
• Kimberly Stoll-French, COVID-19 Testing Coordinator, Ocosta School District
