- Guide for New Superintendents — This research-based superintendent’s guide first focuses on best practices for new superintendents, giving them guidelines to transition to their new roles and to help them better understand their communities, develop plans, and create supporting environments.
- Superintendents' Six Month Entry Plan — This ten page document outlines an entry plan for superintendents' first six months, including meetings with other school administrators, supervisors, board members, and community leaders. The superintendent can revise the plan based on feedback from a listening tour. This plan will address the district's challenges and opportunities, and focuses on student achievement.
