A Statewide Leadership Transformation Network Series

The WASA Leading Inclusive Systems: A Statewide Leadership Transformation Network Series is a yearlong leadership learning experience for district and school leadership teams committed to building stronger, more inclusive education systems. 

ABOUT

Grounded in Washington’s Inclusionary Practices leadership research and aligned with OSPI’s Comprehensive Inclusive Education (CIE) Framework and Reaching Every Learner (REL) guidance, this statewide network moves beyond traditional professional development to support real systems transformation. 

Participants will engage in:
  • collaborative leadership learning, 
  • cross-district networking, 
  • practical implementation planning, 
  • courageous leadership conversations, 
  • and development of a district-specific Inclusion Playbook.

SESSION MODULES

Each session includes expert perspectives, district stories, collaborative inquiry, practical tools, and opportunities for reflection and application. 

This network is designed for: 

  • Superintendents 
  • District Leaders 
  • Special Education Leaders 
  • Teaching & Learning Leaders 
  • Building Principals 
Together, leaders will explore how to create systems that increase belonging, access, engagement, and meaningful participation for all students.
