WASA is excited to open the application window for the second cohort of Facilitating for Impact - an initiative designed to strengthen leadership confidence, collaboration, and connection across Washington’s education community.
Facilitating for Impact will bring together 50 WASA members on the eastside and 50 on the westside for a focused journey that increases leadership capacity for uniting people around a shared purpose and facilitating leadership collectives that inspire action and foster belonging.
Participants Will:

Engage in a one-day in-person training focused on high-impact leadership strategies that elevate team culture and collective efficacy, applicable to a full array of topics and situations.
- Develop new and deeper peer relationships with colleagues across the state.
- Strengthen confidence and leadership efficacy to enhance longevity in your role and deepen commitment to public education.
Participation Details
Cost: There is no fee to participate in this program.
Travel Support: A one-night hotel accommodation will be provided by WASA for the night of either September 16 in SeaTac or September 17 in Spokane for participants if their school district office is more than 50 miles from the event venue.
WASA is seeking rich representation across regions, gender, races/ethnicities and district size.
