The 2023 Women in Leadership Annual Conference: Your Authentic Leadership Gift will take place at Campbell’s Resort in beautiful Lake Chelan! This full day learning experience will feature Julie Jangawala (formerly Wilson), author of The Human Side of Changing Education: How to Lead Change with Clarity, Conviction and Courage and Founder and Executive Director of The Institute for the Future of Learning. Participants can expect in depth self-reflection and practical activities and tools to gain clarity and confidence as their most authentic selves—all within the K–12 organizational context. Julie Jungawala (Formerly Wilson) Coach, Advisor, Author, and Executive Director, Institute for the Future of Learning Julie Margretta Jungawala is the author of The Human Side of Changing Education, a coach, and an advisor to school leaders, educational institutions, and foundations whose mission is to shape the future of K–12 education. She has over fifteen years’ experience building effective learning environments that unlock human potential and enable organizational culture to adapt and grow during times of change. She is the founder and executive director of Institute for the Future of Learning, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping transform the 'one size does not fit all' model of education. The Institute works with a diverse range of clients including public schools, independent schools, public charter schools, and educational philanthropic organizations. Recent speaking engagements include TEDx, fuse, the Center for Transformational Leadership, and the Science of Teaching and Leadership Academy. Julie graduated from Harvard’s Graduate School of Education with a master’s degree in technology, innovation, and education, and a Bachelor of Arts in business administration and French from Queens University in Belfast, Northern Ireland. During her time as a staff member at Harvard, Julie was the recipient of the Harvard Hero award for outstanding contributions to the University.
The WIL conference will be held on April 29, 2023 from 8:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m. at Campbell’s Resort in Lake Chelan, WA. Breakfast and lunch provided.
