Online Graduate Level Course to Support Mentors

  Open and free of charge to 40 District Team Facilitators and Primary District Contacts from Cohorts 1 and 2! Courses are usually over $400. The course will be facilitated and asynchronous over eight weeks. 

COURSE DETAILS
Eight modules, one per week
- Modules contain videos, resources, and weekly assignments and/or discussions.
- Direct interaction and feedback from your Novak Educational Consulting instructor.
- Opportunity to build community with your classmates through course discussion boards.
- LOTS of options and choices—UDL is the foundation for everything!
- Participants will be expected to submit work by the due date but will be given the opportunity to revise and improve upon their work—just as students should be given the same respect using the UDL framework.
- All assignments can be resubmitted for feedback and grading up until the last day of the course.

Continuing education credits available for those interested: three credits, 45 hours. University partners are Teachers College of San Joaquin California ($200) or Gordon College in Massachusetts ($200). 

Begin your journey by taking a Diagnostic and Learning Assessment here. This assessment will help Novak Educational Consulting determine the timing and topics for the course. You will have until December 6, to complete the assessment. Those who complete the assessment will have priority access to the course. 

Registration begins December 7, so keep an eye out from Novak Educational Consulting for details.

District Team Facilitator PLC—Cohort 1

Dr. Katie Novak will host these engaging PLC/Networking gatherings to: 
• Support you as you lead your district leadership team.
• Develop a network with other team facilitators, the WASA project team, and Dr. Novak.
• Review the "road map" activities between now and August 12.
• Consider ways to engage your district team to fulfill project commitments.
• Consider ways in which the WASA project team can support you.
