ABOUT

Your Leadership Matters.
Are you a building leader, district administrator, or teacher leader ready to expand your impact beyond the school level? The WASA Aspiring Central Office Leadership Academy is your opportunity to grow your leadership, sharpen your systems thinking, and gain the tools and confidence to lead at the district level.

This academy is specifically designed for education professionals who aspire to serve in central office roles — including directors, executive directors, assistant superintendents, and other district leadership positions. Whether you're already serving at the district level or preparing to take that next step, this program will stretch your thinking, deepen your expertise, and connect you with other leaders across the state.

Why Join?

  • Explore the mindset and responsibilities required to serve effectively in central office leadership roles
  • Develop strategies for supporting schools, building coherent systems, and leading with purpose
  • Learn from experienced district leaders and guest presenters
  • Connect with mentors and peers across Washington who are walking a similar path
