Professional Learning
WASA provides ongoing, in-depth professional learning opportunities for every member. Program offerings include job-alike and cross-responsibility experiences throughout the year. A significant focus on improved student learning and leadership behaviors is included in every professional learning activity.
Each conference and workshop includes keynote speakers, best practice concurrent sessions, and often expert panel presentations. We attempt to provide a wide array for participant interaction for maximized information exchange. Most of the program offerings also engage participants in opportunities to network with colleagues for greater job-role support.
Theme and content is determined by WASA member advisory input for each event. Members are appointed to advisory committees for their field knowledge and personal interest in serving colleagues in this professional growth role.
